Many colleges and universities will be here on campus on November 6, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. for our College Fair on the Main Campus Plaza.  It’s a great opportunity to talk to a lot of college admissions representatives at one time, and ask them about programs their college offers, admissions, financial aid, housing, and more.

C3/C-STEP Information Sessions

Please join us to learn more about C-STEP, our guaranteed admissions pathway to UNC Chapel Hill, and C3, our guaranteed admissions pathway to NC State.  We’ll hold virtual information session on the following dates.  Please e-mail transfercenter@durhamtech.edu for the link to join.

How to Apply Workshops

Planning to transfer in 2026? Join us for a hold How to Apply Workshop on September 9 (in person in the Transfer Center, Phillips, Building 3, Room 126) and 10 (via Zoom, e-mail transfercenter@durhamtech.edu for the link to join) at 3:30 pm.  We’ll talk about the nuts and bolts of the Transfer Common Application and how to write strong application and scholarship essays.

How to Win a Big National Scholarship

Whether you are just beginning your transfer degree at Â鶹ӰÊÓ or close to the end, now is the time to learn more about how to earn a transfer scholarship. We’ll talk about how to position yourself with the grades, activities, and faculty recommendations required to earn a major scholarship such as the or the . Please join us for a hands-on workshop on Wednesday, September 17, from 4:00-5:00 in the Transfer Center, Phillips, Building 3, Room 126 on Main Campus.

Transfer Planning Workshop for Non-US Citizens

Join us for a workshop designed especially for Â鶹ӰÊÓ's international students who plan to transfer. We’ll talk about transfer universities, resources, and scholarships for students not able to apply for federal financial aid.  It's Tuesday, October 14, at 4:00 pm via Zoom. Colleges Visit for Fall Fest

Many colleges and universities will join us for Fall Fest, our annual outdoor celebration, on Wednesday, September 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Main Campus Plaza. Stop by to ask transfer questions and learn more about our partner colleges and universities.

Appalachian State University

Meet with App State representative Kristi Leff on October 23, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and December 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Collins (Building 2) foyer. 

NC State University

Community College Collaboration, C3, our guaranteed admissions pathway to NC State, holds virtual information sessions every other week.

Interested in Animal Science, Horticulture, or Agriculture? NC State’s College of Agriculture and Life Science holds Discover CALS virtual Transfer Thursdays, drop-in style on Zoom, for students to ask questions. .

UNC Chapel Hill

Meet with UNC Chapel Hill admissions representative Beth Ann Wilber when she visits on Wednesday, October 1, in the Collins Building 2 foyer. Learn more about C-STEP, our guaranteed admissions pathway to UNC Chapel Hill, as well as general admissions questions.

Western Carolina University

Western Carolina University is offering monthly Virtual Transfer Fairs. Students will learn more about WCU and details from various transfer representatives regarding the appropriate action steps for their transfer pathway. .

William Peace University

William Peace University in Raleigh offers campus tours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. .
