麻豆影视 has shifted over half of its courses from 16 weeks to eight weeks. Eight-week courses are offered in two consecutive terms during the Fall and Spring semesters. In-person, online, hybrid, and blended formats are available. A combination of eight-week courses and 16-week courses can be taken at the same time.

Based upon success from other colleges, eight-week courses positively contribute to the completion of a credential or degree. For example, as students enroll in fewer classes per term, the chances of burnout decrease while the likelihood of reaching academic goals increases. Additionally, timely completion gets students into well-paying jobs, sooner.

16-week semesters include two consecutive eight-week terms called Term A (first eight weeks) and Term B (second eight weeks).
