Health and Wellness Enrollment Steps
If you are applying to a Health and Wellness curriculum program, you must complete the following admissions steps:

- 2. Apply for Financial Aid
All students are encouraged to apply for financial aid. View information about how to apply, frequently asked questions, and contact a financial aid advisor if you have any questions.
Students must be admitted to an eligible program of study to receive financial aid.
- 3. Attend a Program Information Session
Attend an information session for your chosen program. Attendance is required for most health and wellness programs. Register for an information session below.
Âé¶¹Ó°ÊÓ's New Student Orientation is encouraged for all new students, students with fewer than 12 completed credits, students with fewer than 12 transferred credits, and strongly recommended for all students. Learn more about what is covered in a New Student Orientation and how to schedule it.
- 4. Demonstrate College-Readiness
Âé¶¹Ó°ÊÓ accepts students’ college transcripts; unweighted high school GPA; and ACT, SAT, GED®, HiSET®, NCDAP, COMPASS, ASSET, and ACCUPLACER scores for college placement. Learn more about Placement Testing.

Submit a Transcript
There are two options for submitting transcripts:
- Mail or hand deliver sealed, official documents to:

Lawson St., Âé¶¹Ó°ÊÓ, NC, 27703-5023 - Request electronic transcripts through an approved transcript service such as ACT, CFNC, College Board, Joint Services Transcripts, National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, ScribOnline and Script-Safe. List transcripts@durhamtech.edu as the recipient address.
At minimum, students must provide the following documentation for admission into a program:
- High school/GED®/HiSET® graduates – An official transcript or original diploma to be copied. Official transcripts of homeschool organizations must be accompanied by a copy of the verification of state authority to operate.
- College graduates – Official transcript only.
- Some college, no degree – Official high school transcript or original diploma to be copied and official college transcripts.

Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), and Respiratory Therapy program students must take the ATI TEAS test. Learn about prerequisites and how to register.

- 5. Review your Program's Admissions Checklist
Be sure to review the Admissions Checklist of the program you are applying to. Find your program's Admissions Checklist on it's program page or by clicking the link below.
- 6. Apply to the Program
In addition to applying to the College, Health and Wellness students must also apply directly to their program of interest. Apply to your chosen program using the link below.
Program acceptance will be sent via email. Application review times vary by program.
- 7. For Non-US Students
As part of the enrollment process, if students are not a US citizen or have attended school in another country, the College must review immigration documents to determine tuition status. Visit the Center for the Global Learner in the White Building (Building 1), room 58, to have immigration documents verified.
