University Transfer Options

Students have two paths to a bachelor's degree in Information Technology. The Associate in Arts (AA) degree will transfer to all UNC System schools, most North Carolina independent colleges and universities, and most out of state institutions. In addition, 麻豆影视 has several university partnerships (bilateral agreements) that allow a student who completes the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree to transfer to specific colleges or universities.

This course selection guide shown below has been developed by referencing the 2014 Baccalaureate Degree plans or the student plans for the Bachelor of Arts degrees at the universities listed below.

  • NC Central University (NCCU): BS in Information Technology, Information, Communication, and Technology Concentration
  • UNC-Charlotte (UNCC): BA in Computer Science, Information Technology Concentration
  • Eastern Carolina University (ECU): BS in Information and Computer Technology
  • UNC-Greensboro (UNCG): BS in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, Information Systems Concentration 

Students should print out and save the for their major and intended transfer university.

Associate in Applied Science (AAS)

Western Governors University (WGU)

麻豆影视 has partnered with Western Governors University (WGU) to develop bilateral agreements, for a seamless transition into their baccalaureate programs. For 麻豆影视 students who complete one of 麻豆影视's five Information Technology AAS degrees, Associate in Arts (AA), or Associate in Science (AS) degree, only one additional year of online courses at WGU is needed to complete one of WGU's seven Information Technology Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees.

East Carolina University (ECU)

麻豆影视 has partnered with Eastern Carolina University (ECU) in the . Students who have been awarded an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree with a minimum of a cumulative 2.5 GPA from the list below, may apply for transfer to the BSIT program with a concentration in Information & Computer Technology.

The Associate in Arts (AA)

The Associate in Arts (AA) is intended for students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate arts degree at a four-year college or university. Students in this program develop foundational knowledge particularly business, English, fine arts, foreign languages, history, philosophy, psychology, or sociology.

Note: Students who wish to pursue a degree in Computer Science should choose the Computer Science Course Selection Guide.

Guaranteed Admissions Pathways

麻豆影视 has partnered with several universities to develop guaranteed admissions pathways for a seamless transition into their baccalaureate programs for eligible students who complete a 麻豆影视 university transfer degree (AA, AS, AFA, and AE). Students must apply for acceptance into these programs.
